I gotta say, these look scary, painful, and a good way to tell everyone around you “hell no!” without saying a word. They also strangely remind me of that Far Side cartoon which was entitled Nature’s Way of Saying Don’t Touch.

It is indeed a great, great day that I see a glimpse of myself in the background – well, in this case, foreground – in a photo of one of my all-time fave blogs. I did not even know the dudes from Project Rungay were there at Leanne Marshall‘s show during fashion week at the same time I was – and yet there I am in one of their photos, interviewing Leanne. WOW. (Check out their post re: Leanne’s show here.)
Oh, and TONS of Fashion Week coverage to come, chickadees – just getting all my stuff together, so prepare to be hit by a deluge (or two) over the coming week.

Though this is a bit off-topic, we here at Chic Steals receive about 20-40 emails a day, from marketing people, PR lackeys, various designers plugging their lines, bloggers plugging their blogs, job inquiries, and event invites (to events on the other side of the country – never anything that’s actually here in the same city). We’re not trying to boast; this is just the sad reality that goes part and parcel with writing once-weekly articles for FashionTribes.com.
